Allendale
Allendale is located at the heart of Ottawa County in Western Michigan. Approximately 15 miles east of Lake Michigan and 17 miles west of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Allendale is an ideal location to explore. This quaint community boasts a small town atmosphere nearer to later communities. With a beautiful Community Park and Veteran’s Memorial Park there are little shops, and plenty of locally owned and operated restaurants, it is a relaxing town.

Tee off at The Meadows Golf Club for a day of enjoyment. Rated at 74.5, the course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, who was awarded the Donald Ross Award. Opening in 1994, the course is rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest Magazine – Places to Play. Stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites, located right down the street!
Established in 1960, Allendale is home to Grand Valley State University (GVSU). A Division 2 school, with over 23,000 students, the university creates a lively atmosphere for the small town. Voted as one of the country’s most beautiful campuses, and is noted for its imitative in sustainability, GVSU is happily at home in Allendale.
