Annual Meeting

As always, it was great to see everyone at our 2012 Annual Meeting!

Thanks to Days Inn for sending us this special treat after arriving back to the office 
following our annual meeting.

For those that attended, thank you for taking time to join us for our Coast Guard themed annual meeting. It only seems appropriate, since we are “Coast Guard City USA”. We wanted to take some time out of our busy schedule to see where our Coasties live and work, as well as, learn about all they do on our behalf. 

Station Grand Haven has many functions, however, their primary focus is search and rescue and maritime law enforcement. The tour lasted an hour, although I think we would have all liked to stay longer, particularly on the boats. We needed to get back to Sector Field Office (across the street) for lunch and presentations. 

Special thanks to Coast Guard Grand Haven – Commander Sean Brady, Lt Kevin McDonald and Senior Chief Kirk McCay for letting us tour, use their training room and accommodating us civilians. We were happy to treat those on duty that day with left overs from our pasta bar by Kick’d up Catering.
