 The Grand Haven Area is a beautiful four-season destination, offering our visitors wonderful opportunities for year-round fun!

Spring and summer fun activites include: hiking, biking, golfing, fishing, boating, kayaks or canoes as some of the recreational opportunities available in our area. One of the most attractive aspects of our area is the variety of recreational experiences you can enjoy here. Wind surfing, skim boarding, skate boarding or scuba are also an option.

Our great geographic location means we are surrounded by sand dunes, fresh water lakes, rivers and streams, thick forests and four very distinctive seasons-summer, fall, winter and spring.

 Once here, you will see why visitors have decided to make this their annual vacation destination year after year. 

You can enjoy the trolley, a historic downtown shopping district, art galleries, charter fishing, the world’s largest musical fountain, and a 2.5 mile boardwalk that takes you from downtown Grand Haven to Lake Michigan and the sandy beaches of the State Park and City Beach.

Pack your camera; some of the most fantastic sunsets happen in Grand Haven behind the silhouette of the lighthouse and pier.
